A workshop on merging the Visual Arts with STEM learning to recreate your world

Everything's a Switch! Everything's a Button!

is an absolutely free Art & STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) based workshop that aims to introduce K-12 students to various levels of making interactive environments through creative use of simple sensors and closing circuits.

Students spend time touching, pushing, moving and playing with physical objects that effect an interactive projection before learning how it all works followed by brainstorming and implementing ideas for interactivity with objects already located within the room.

Students will bridge the physical and digital world and  leave with resources to begin experimenting with creating interactive environments on their own.
