Simmetri - "Push Stuff - Interactive Stupidity"

I had just bought Simmitri (gotta have that brandable spelling) from the Steam store for a mere $20 and it was time to explore what this piece of software could do for a bit. I have to say, it's surprisingly easy to use and fun to play with. In just a few hours I created this little game with loads of physics-based interactivity. I highly recommend throwing down a Jackson on this.

The more I play with it, the more I think it will be a perfect transition for youth to go from the type of world building one does in Minecraft to the type of world building one does in Unity.  It's easy to jump into, requires much less scripting, and the scripting there is incorporates drag-and-drop of assets into the text field for quick and simple reference.

I plan to hash out a possible workshop or two meant for middle schoolers using Simmetri for my thesis project in a year from now.
