IP Webcam: Cell Phone Webcam Streaming

I'm in love with sensors. I'm specifically in love with cell phone sensors. I think they are amazing. All cell phones are basically little Arduinos (how ironic to call something a "little" Arduino) that sits in your pocket all day making your crotch warmer than you'd like. They have so many sensors that can be accessed for interactive projects, including their cameras.

 

I started to test using the IP Webcam App on my Android to get video into TouchDesigner. it's super easy actually. If you have old phones lying around, this is a great way to utilize them as part of creative projects.
